Our Co-Chairs
Hannah Day is a senior from Apex, North Carolina. She served as the Outreach Chair of CAGE for the 2017-2018 school year and became Co-Chair in January of 2019. Hannah is an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in the Global Studies Department at UNC and served as the Program and Marketing Intern for Theater Delta in the spring of 2019. She will be interning for the National MS Society this summer and will serve as a Co-Chair of the "Great Decisions" (GLBL 381) foreign policy course during her senior year.

Bailey is a junior who is originally from Henderson, NV and currently lives in Asheboro, NC. She is currently double-majoring in Political Science and Public Policy and minoring in Women’s and Gender Studies. In addition to feminism and gender equity, she also is passionate about nuclear weapons policy, nonproliferation, and disarmament. In her free time, she loves to read, listen to music, and playing with makeup. Bailey was the Advocacy Co-Chair and she focused on projects such as the gender-neutral bathroom campaign and the expansion and enforcement of gender-neutral language policies on campus.

Advocacy Chairs - Grace Langley and Katherine Hendry
Grace Langley is a senior from Rocky Mount, NC. A transfer student from East Carolina University, she is currently double-majoring in Psychology and Sociology. Grace spent the past summer working as a Human Resources Intern at The Borgen Project, a nonprofit, grassroots organization dedicated to making foreign aid the focus of U.S. foreign policy. In addition to acting as Sub-Co-Chair of Advocacy, she is currently the Co-Social Justice Advocate of Connor Community Government. Her passions include backpacking, waterfront activities, and spending time with her pets, friends and family. As Co-Advocacy Chair, Grace leads CAGE's gender neutral bathroom campaign and the enforcement of the gender neutral language policy amongst other initiatives.

Katherine Hendry is a sophomore from Charlotte, NC. She participated in CAGE during the 2018-2019 school year, and she is excited to return as the new sub-chair for advocacy! She is a biology and anthropology major, and is interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. She also participates in the pre-veterinary club at UNC.

Events Chair - Zoe Leatherwood
Zoe is a sophomore from Asheville, NC. She is currently majoring in Communications and Political Science, where her interests include the work of non-governmental organizations and human rights. Like many others, Zoe became more interested in feminism and intersectionality due to the heightened political climate of 2016. Since then, she has participated in a number of protests, rallies, public forums, etc. and is excited to continue her gender equity work with CAGE. In her free time, Zoe can often be found crying while looking at pictures of French Bulldogs, watching movies, taking BuzzFeed quizzes, and bingeing Parks & Rec for the 100th time.

Social Chair - Matt Moravec
Matt Moravec is a sophomore from Charlotte, NC. He is doing pre-med and double-majoring in Biology and Sociology with a minor in Neuroscience. Other than feminism, he is passionate about equal access to health care, sarcasm, and spending way too much time in the library.

Evaluations Chair - Capri D'Souza
Capri D’Souza is a sophomore from Greensboro, North Carolina. She is excited to be serving as Evaluations Sub-Chair for the 2019-2020 year! Capri is currently a business major and a Spanish for the professions minor. She loves traveling to different countries and is passionate about learning about different cultures and languages. On campus, Capri is also involved with 180 Degrees Consulting, where she does pro-bono consulting for non-profits.
